We prefer to keep our fish oils as pure and unrefined as we can, to provide premium extra-virgin oils. Our fish oils contain a complete range of raw omega fats including omega 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 11 and are particularly rich in the long-chain omega-3s (EPA and DHA).

As they’re naturally extracted by hand without the use of heat, the naturally occurring nutrients remain in our oils. We take our inspection process seriously, hand-selecting only the best quality livers before storing within a dark, oxygen-free environment and at low temperatures. The livers are ground up and then, using the Rosita Method, the proteins are naturally (unconventionally) removed without the use of heat or chemicals. This allows the oil to naturally separate from the liver.

Rosita uses a cleaning protocol to remove potential contaminants based on a naturally occurring ocean substance, designed to minimise environmental impact. This proprietary method retains the oils nutrients, antioxidants and natural fatty acid composition. Everything is done with respect for nature. Using this method, all that is required is a substance that occurs naturally in the ocean. This naturally occurring substance has the property to bind itself to a variety of organic contaminants which can then be separated and drawn off by decanting.

We independently test each batch for purity, and a variety of nutrients, before bottling our oils. Third-party testing has consistently shown that our oils meet the strict European limits for heavy metals and organic contaminants such as dioxins and PCBs. Testing each batch is extremely costly, but we strongly believe that you have the right to receive the highest-quality products possible. We also use humane harvesting methods to minimise any distress and pain.
